Privacy Policy
livi.art is operated by Ahangaram ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit, connect with, or reserve a work through livi.art, and how we use it. We've written it to be read, not skipped.
1. What We Collect
When you browse: basic technical data — pages viewed, general location (country/city level), device and browser type, and referral source (including personalized links such as livi.art/?via=name-city used in our outreach and referral tracking).
When you connect or reserve: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, shipping address, language preference, and any details you share with us directly in conversation about the work you're drawn to.
When you purchase: payment is processed by our payment partners (Razorpay and, where used, Stripe) or via direct bank transfer. We do not store your full card or bank account details ourselves — these are handled by our payment processors under their own security and privacy standards.
When you use email to reach us: we retain the conversation for the purpose of managing your reservation and, where you've engaged with our referral program, for cascade tracking of how you were introduced to us.
2. Why We Collect It
- To communicate with you about a piece you're interested in
- To process and fulfil a reservation or purchase
- To arrange shipping, customs documentation, and delivery
- To understand, in aggregate, how collectors find their way to Livi's work — including through referral and Timekeeper introductions — so we can honour that relationship appropriately
- To send you updates, if you've agreed to receive them
- To meet our legal and tax obligations (invoicing, export documentation)
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not run paid advertising.
3. Who We Share It With
- Payment processors (Razorpay) — to complete transactions.
- Shipping and logistics partners — to deliver your work and prepare customs documentation (this may include your name, address, and the declared value of the work, as required for international shipping under HS code 9701).
- Brevo.com — if you've opted in to updates.
We do not share your contact details with other collectors, Timekeepers, or third parties without your consent, even where a referral connects you to someone.
4. International Visitors
livi.art is built for a global, multilingual audience — including visitors from the EU, UK, UAE, Japan, and elsewhere. If you are located in a jurisdiction with its own data protection framework (such as the GDPR), you may have additional rights, including the right to request a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or to object to certain processing. We honour these requests regardless of where you are located, as a matter of practice, not just legal obligation.
5. Your Rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- tell you what data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it, where we're not required to retain it for legal reasons
- stop contacting you for anything beyond an active reservation
Reach us at us@livi.art for any of the above.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we ask that you also take care with the information you share with us over email.
8. Cookies & Tracking
livi.art uses minimal technical cookies necessary for the site to function and to track referral links (?via= parameters) for our outreach program. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
9. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page as needed and reflect the date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to us@livi.art or through our Grievance Redressal page.
