Terms of Service
livi.art is operated by Ahangaram (Sevenstonez Inc), registered at Plot no.A4, TF1, 3rd floor, Iswaraya Ozone Bay apartment, 58th street, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai 600 041, India ("we," "us," "livi.art"). These terms govern your use of this site and any reservation, purchase, or connection made through it. By browsing, connecting, or reserving a work, you agree to what follows.
We ask you to read this plainly, even though the rest of the site does not speak this way. Resonance is real. So is the need for both of us to know exactly where we stand.
1. What This Site Is
livi.art exists to introduce Livi's work to those it resonates with. It isn't a marketplace in the conventional sense. Editions are genuinely limited — no more than 20 of any work will ever exist — but that limit is never used to rush you; there's no countdown, no urgency, only a considered decision. Originals go further still: nothing is added to a cart. Each one is connected with, and then reserved, through the process described below. This distinction is intentional, and it shapes every term in this document.
2. The Four Tiers
- Gallery — for browsing. No transaction occurs here.
- Open Editions — works available in unlimited copies, purchasable directly through checkout. There is no cap on how many of a given work may be printed or sold.
- Limited Editions — works released in fixed counts, capped at 20 copies per artwork, purchasable directly through checkout.
- Originals — one-of-one works, price on request, reserved through direct contact. A reservation on an Original holds the work for you for an agreed period but does not constitute a completed sale until payment is received and confirmed in writing.
3. Reservations Are Not Standard E-Commerce Orders
When you reserve an art, you are asking us to hold it for you. We will confirm availability, final price (inclusive of any applicable shipping and, where relevant, framing), and payment method directly — by email — before any payment is taken. Nothing is auto-charged. A reservation lapses if payment is not completed within the window we communicate to you at the time of reservation.
4. Pricing
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees, with a number of major currencies offered for your convenience — among them US Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros — and marked as exclusive of applicable tax at checkout. The currency and amount confirmed to you at checkout is what you'll be charged. If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate, and in some cases a cross-border transaction fee — this is set by your bank, not by us.
Prices for Originals are on request and may vary based on the specific work, timing, and conversation.
We don't store your full payment card details — payments are processed by razorpay.com under their own terms.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
We do not offer refunds or cancellations for change of mind, once a reservation has been confirmed and payment received, whether for a Limited Edition, or an Original. The one exception: damage in transit. If a physical work arrives visibly damaged, you must notify us within 2 days of delivery, with photographs of the work, its packaging, and the shipping label. Once verified, we will offer either:
- For Open & Limited Editions: a replacement where available, or a refund if replacement is not possible.
- or
- For Originals: an appropriate resolution agreed with you based on the circumstances.
We are not responsible for:
- delays caused by customs processing in the destination country,
- import duties or taxes levied by the destination country (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy),
- work that does not match a buyer's expectation of colour, scale, or presentation where accurate images and dimensions were provided prior to purchase.
- damage caused after delivery or by improper handling, storage, or framing.
Unpaid reservations that lapse are not refundable because no payment was taken; the hold is simply released.
6. Limited Editions — What You're Buying
Each Limited Edition is numbered and produced in a stated total run. We do not produce beyond the stated edition size. Framing, where offered, is priced and described separately at the point of reservation.
7. Shipping, Customs & Risk
See our full Shipping & Delivery Policy. In summary: shipments are sent DAP/DDU (Delivered At Place / Delivery Duty Unpaid) unless otherwise agreed. Responsibility for the work passes to you on delivery; any customs duties or import taxes in your country are your responsibility.
8. Communication
By reserving a work or reaching out to us@livi.art, you consent to being contacted by us regarding your reservation, order status, and — unless you opt out — future updates from livi.art. You may opt out of non-transactional communication at any time by telling us so directly.
9. Intellectual Property
All artwork, imagery, and site content are protected. See our Intellectual Property / Copyright Notice for full terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount paid for that specific work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of value, sentimental value, or costs incurred due to customs delays outside our control.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from a purchase or reservation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies to your use of the site and any transaction made through it. We will update the date above when changes are made.
